This project sees that a sophisticated urban garden, or Arcaedian Hub, based upon aquaponics and other technologies, is established in every city and town on planet earth. With each Arcaedian Hub erected, food, water, and electric are produced locally and for free for all of the local inhabitants.

Ordinarily, neo-sovereignty would entail every citizen having ownership of a stationary dwelling, as well as ownership in technology that enables them to produce their own food, water, and electric. Unfortunately, the cost of the government paying for such wide scale implementation of technology is not financially and economically feasible. Fortunately, it is not beyond the abilities of private corporations to provide the technology to those willing to pay for it. In fact, doing so enables legislation to eventually be passed to do away with minimum wage laws; but that’s another topic within itself.

To promote neo-sovereignty and curtail CO2 emissions, we of Sanctient have made it our purpose to erect one or more Arcaedian Hubs, in every city and town on Earth where humans live and congregate. The close proximity of these systems frees up land used for agriculture and enables forest to be planted in their place. It also completely destroys shipping costs associated with moving harvested crops to cities and processing centres. The EPA list transportation, agriculture, and industrial use among the top contributors to climate change; and with the use of these local gardening systems, those contributors drop significantly.

To understand what makes up an Arcaedian Hub, we have listed some of the key technology to the right…

Food Sovereignty

Each Arcaedian Hub consists of a robotically controlled aquaponics garden. Aquaponics is the successful integration of aquaculture and hydroponics. Fish are raised in tanks and fed nutrients; and in turn, the fish pollute the water with their waste. That waste water is than pumped to grow beds where the plants clean the water. That clean water is then returned back to the tank with the fish. What must be understood here is that this is an enclosed ecosystem; and any matter of fish, fruits, vegetables, and spices can be grown with this system. Different configurations of the system produce varying yields of food, but every system is scalable for the population it’s meant to serve. Waste and water usage is minimal, and some of the more significant systems are capable of running on twelve volts of electricity; essentially, entire food production systems running on solar, wind, and a few batteries. That’s free food production with minimal power usage. By installing these off-grid systems in every city and town on earth, food will essentially be free for all the locals residents.

Water Sovereignty

Each Arcaedian Hub will consist of an atmospheric water generator. An atmospheric water generator is a device that extracts water from ambient air; either by cooling the air below its dew point, exposing the air to desiccants like silica gel, or pressurization. Think of this along the lines of a giant dehumidifier, but the water produced is potable and more pure than bottled water. This won’t necessarily replace tap water and you won’t exactly be able to shower with it, but it will provide a source of drinking water in the event of some environmental or economic disaster. These devices are specifically formulated to harvest the moisture and rain from our cloud seeding facilities; so the likelihood of a natural disaster like drought is extremely low.

Electric Sovereignty

Each Arcaedian Hub will consist of a localized power production plant capable of supplying power to every home and business within city limits. I really want to share this environmentally sustainable technology; but we do not have a patent and there is a significant security risk involved if we talk about the technology before this business is in operation. In fact, if there was any reason for this business to have been created, this would be it. We have in our possession a working prototype that… [redacted] I’m sorry, we just can’t do it. All we can say is that this technology is going to be as prolific as aut0motive industry; everyone will benefit.

Communications Sovereignty

Every Arcaedian Hub will have a communications network and hosting centre to serve the local community. This will enable each household to not only access the world wide web, but also set up and maintain a website. One might argue that this isn’t in the first tier of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, but the truth is, we need this system to set up our free education platform. With each Arcaedian Hub erected, a laser communications relay will be set up so that everyone can talk to each other.

Medical Sovereignty

Each Arcaedian Hub would not be complete without some form of medical apparatus to monitor the health of its local denizens. To establish a medical treatment centre with doctors or nurses in each town, however, is not economical. The cost of hospital staff and medicine alone would create too much of a financial burden to the smaller towns. In light of these facts, we focus instead on prevention and leave the treatment to private interest groups. Each Arcaedian Hub will come with full-body medical scanner to which each citizen will be directly responsible for getting a check-up once a month. The scanner, in conjunction with machine learning, will monitor the near-complete health of all citizens and alert them when they should see a doctor.
